This is a pretty accurate representation of how I play tennis in real life.
I love the silly clumsy style of the characters and the sound design fits perfectly.
While it is a super fun game I can definitely see myself coming back to when I have a few minutes of spare time, unfortunately I don't think it really fits the theme of the jam as it doesn't really affect game play, the speeding up at times was barely noticeable and feels like it could be removed and nothing would change.
I'm in love with the art, the animations, the sounds, the movement of the camera and with the gameplay, Its simply fantastic. In my opinion the only thing that would make this game better would be multiplayer online.

it's not the cleanest code, but i know it can sometimes be helpful to poke around a project. the character movement is a combination of 'stacked sprites' and 'procedural walking', if you want to research those concepts first
My mind is blown🤯. I thought the characters were made using a 3d model. I didn't know you could achieve that look by just using some sprites. I definitely learn some new things. Thank you for sharing the source code, it was super helpful.
